I know I design him with the intention that he becomes an evasion tank, but there's an irony I find very amusing in making his new magitek armor lighter than his original.

#ffxiv #sketch #concept #zenos yae galvus #adventurer zenos #I'm probably gonna mess with the design more involving his grieves and the belt design #but I'm at least happy with the mask and the marble aesthetic for the upper half of his helm #even if it reminds me heavily of sentai helmets #superhero landing lookin ass #what is not shown is tsu having to heavily bribe nero for the auto-equip tech that he has #aggressively even #...wait that actually does just make him a power ranger #WHOOPS #anyways I also just like the idea of- after a while- him and estinien just keep getting tackled or chased by kids that think theyre cool #and zenos in particular trying hard to shoe them off for a variety of reasons lol #I just get the mental image of him picking up any one of them that approach him- turning them around trying to get them to just walk off #or him “begrudgingly” nudging a ball back and forth acting like hes just trying to move it away from him #I also drew the bottom right with the thought of him not being used to short hair- and he's just stuck having to constantly brush it back #takes the helmet off and it all just fluffs up- and you just hear a sigh through his mask LOL #and then with the cloth- he can turn it into weapons he's used before in case of emergency or utility- like a scythe or the katanas #mostly because as I write adventurer zenos- unless it requires stabbing or slashing he's usually just going to be up front brawling it #look you gotta understand- the final fight lives in my head rent free and I adore the concept of brawler/pugilist zenos

Have any of you guys ever been doodling when suddenly you’re hit by the angstiest idea ever and so you start workshopping that idea into an au as an alternate timeline to see if it would fit with the au only to create an absolutely heartbreaking and depression inducing scenario, only for your brain to decide that’s not enough and end up creating that same scenario in your two other main aus so that you end up with three deeply traumatized versions of the same character?

I call them the heartbroken trio.

We have a post-Everything Goes To Shit arc Scythe, around January ‘24 Bloody, and a post-Second Takeover Harvest. You may notice I called them by their actual names and not by their usual [insert trait here]!BM names, and that’s on purpose.

See, due to various circumstances in each of their respective timelines, their twins died.

They’ve all taken it very harshly, but express it in different ways, Scythe is more reserved yet more ruthless in her anger, Bloody has become extremely disconnected from everything, and Harvest is an anxious wreck. All their reactions are directly correlated to their twins’ death and how they perceived it.

Anyways, yeah.

New au//timeline thing. Yay?

The guy who in his canon lost his twin being extremely conflicted about the newcomers. Cuz in one hand they are versions of versions of himself that he knows that he can relate even more to! cant believe how I set a new goal for myself this year to try out video game genres outside my comfort zone, and specifically outlined to try out a Musou game out as one of said game genres, and what do you know, not even a day after announcing that, Stephanie Sterling comes around and just Decides to drop two videos about Musou games. PERFECT TIMING.

#ANYWAYS LOOKING RESPECTFULLY AT SENGOKU BASARA’s CHARACTER DESIGNS #shallow rambles #idk what game to try first I think I require more rescearch on that front but i might try samurai warriors first #uhhh I would play Sengoku Basra’s but apparently those games ARENT CHEAP and also the most recent game is only on ps3 of which I don’t have #I could emulate them but I have no idea what the state of emulation is for ps3 games and even then #They wouldn’t run on my little laptop. It’s a miracle it’s able to run killer7 #and Dreamcast games but there’s no way it can run ps3 games #might just have to stick with Koei Tecmo’s Musou games atm until capcom decides to relrelease Sengoku Basra’s games on modern hardware #<- that’s as likely as godhand 2 being announced. It’s not impossible anymore. But still VERY LOW CHANCES.#<- if god hand 2 DOES happen I’ll eat my words and my hat.
